Brief

The previous North Face Korea Instagram uploaded only Korean entertainers and ordinary people. Comparing to the global image of The North Face, The North Face Korea requested us to enhance it because of the lack of social media contents. We planned this project to further strengthen the global brand image pursued by The North Face Korea.

Approach

The main concept was the practical and modern design of The North Face's products. In order to show effectively the functions of the jacket and the actual appearance of it, we made a video so that the consumers who would watch it could see various aspects.

Through the hotline with the casting director, we provided a list of models and it did not spend much time for them to choose the models who fit the best.

Result & Impact

By choosing their favorite models to choose easily, the project could be finished completely. The video showed the characteristics of the products such as lightness and modernity. The North Face Korea sent only their products. Because of that, we could save cost and time in many ways, such as styling, and concept coordinating.

Because of the effective videos and photos, The North Face Korea had spent approximately 30-50% lower cost and time to have a global brand image advertisement.

As the main customers was urban people, we chose the city as the background where all the consumers actually live in. In New York, there were a lot of trendy spaces such as Williamsburg, Red Hook, and Greenpoint, that gave the feeling of an industrial and cool.

 

Because of an art director who fully understood of the brand styled everything, The North Face Korea was able to use the content strategy that was much more cohesive and more brand-oriented than their previous projects.
