STUDIO KYCKLOPS X BRAVADO 19 S/S
Brief
Bravado is a merchandising clothing brand under Universal Music that produces goods from world-class artists such as Bob Marley, The Beatles, and Billie Eilish. Previous season projects were taken only in the studio. This didn't fit the global brand image at all, and client have been contacting Studio Kyclops to solve this problem.
Approach
In the 19 S/S season, unlike the street casual feeling shown in the 18th season, it was a season that presented a new concept of life casual. In the 19 S/S season, the product was also produced with a casual fit and design, approaching the direction of content directing in a straight forward direction. At this time, the casting goal was set to a casual and sophisticated model that is different from the street and free-style models that were used a lot in the previous season. We cast Joshuah Melnick, who stood out among the models that fit the concept.
Studio Kyclops' greatest advantage, as an internal studio in Bravado, was responsible for everything from planning to styling of the 19 S/S project for its role. Except for Bravado's tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories are all Studio Kyclops styling. The filming location was set to Brooklyn's greenpoint, a grunge and graffiti-filled location that fits well with Bravado's graphic t-shirt.
Result & Impact
The project was also released as a publication on display at the department store. With the overall art direction of Studio Kyclops, such as the location and styling that the client wanted, the Bravado was able to produce a global project at a reasonable cost because it only needed to send clothes.
