STUDIO KYCLOPS X QUARK 19 F/W

Brief

Quark is a men's business casual brand originating in New York. Quark refers to the basic particles that make up a substance, and consists of basic products. Studio Kyclops planned a concept in the direction of Quark that wanted to be the most essential brand. Based on its brand's concept and content, we worked from the beginning of the brand for Quark.

Approach

Studio Kyclops wanted a model who matched the essential of Quark products. So, we did a broad scale casting in New York, and a lot of model agencies had responded to this. We decided Madani Ba who is now a rising start model in New York. Madani Ba was a model for Nike, Tome Brown and top brand's. He is now on the runway for three seasons as Gucci's exclusive model. As it was the first brand to start, the initial brand position was not enough to introduce. So, we had cast the most famous models to strengthen the brand identity. We planned to take photos at Greenpoint which is simple and industrial place, and also which could fit to show the image of Madani Ba and casual style of Quark's products We planned to take photos to make the product as simple as possible and to stand out.

Result & Impact

As a result of passionate preparation of Quark and Studio Kyclops, in the very first season of Quark had started to distribute in five channels including Goose Barnacle in Brooklyn. Quark introduced itself as the most successful brand in 19 F/W season.
